Best Lip Balm for Trumpet Players

My lips are notoriously dry and chapped. Even in the summer time I use lip balm. When winter time comes around, my lips feel like sandpaper. There's been one lip balm that has worked very well with my trumpet playing. The brand is called ChopSaver. The guy who made it is a professional trumpet player who designed the product specifically for trumpet players.

While honestly it is kind of overpriced for lip balm, it does work well using it while playing the trumpet. For other trumpet players with extremely dry lips like me, could be worth looking into.

I am not sponsored by them in any way, shape or form, just have used their product and liked it.

Welcome to the New Blog! 🎺

New blog created! This is filler text. Creating a trumpet-focused website is more than just posting a few pictures and sound clips—it’s about capturing the energy, history, and personality of one of the most expressive instruments in the world. Whether you’re building a site for your personal playing, a music studio, or a full online trumpet community, the goal is to blend great design with useful, engaging content that keeps visitors coming back.

A strong trumpet website usually starts with clear purpose. Are you showcasing performances? Offering lessons? Sharing trumpet tips, reviews, and maintenance guides? Once your direction is set, the rest becomes easier: high-quality photos, clean navigation, and rich audio or video bring the instrument to life online. Including sections like “Beginner Resources,” “Gear Recommendations,” and “Techniques for Better Tone” can give your site structure while also helping players of all levels.

Was in high school and had the chance to play a bass trumpet for a couple months.

I know the video is from May 2021, but an interesting watch.
